When CTECH first arrived at Heritage Pointe Medical, the clinic was a hive of activity—patients in every room, staff moving swiftly and attentively, and a clear commitment to delivering exceptional care. Our goal was to ensure that the technology supporting them could match that same level of excellence.

The clinic faced several challenges common to growing practices. Without a traditional file server, documents were scattered across multiple desktops, making collaboration and access cumbersome. Wi-Fi connectivity was inconsistent in certain rooms, which impacted both speed and reliability. Security protocols, while functional, were not up to modern standards.
We approached the situation with a mindset of empowerment—how could we make the lives of doctors, nurses, and administrative staff easier, more efficient, and more secure?
By leveraging Microsoft 365, we eliminated the need for costly infrastructure investments. Instead of installing a physical file server, we created a secure, centralized cloud-based environment. This allowed all staff to access shared and confidential files from any device, in any room, at any time
Next, we turned our attention to the network. We upgraded the clinic’s firewall to enhance protection against external threats and deployed new access points throughout the facility. These were paired with backup power supplies to ensure uninterrupted connectivity—even during power fluctuations. The improvements in speed and reliability were immediately noticeable, and staff could now focus on patient care without worrying about technical disruptions.

But our work didn’t stop at implementation. We continue to provide detailed IT business consulting to Heritage Point Medical, helping them stay ahead of the curve as technology evolves. By simply educating the team—showing them what’s possible—they’ve been able to make informed decisions about how to run their practice more effectively.
Looking ahead, the future is bright for Heritage Point Medical. Plans are already underway to further improve file access, upgrade communications systems, and—most exciting of all—begin integrating AI into their operations for the first time. This will open new doors for patient engagement, diagnostics, and administrative efficiency.
